As you want to write Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) , so for it here I am telling you about its basic requirement for which you are looking here:

Eligibility of JEE Main
You have must passed in final examination of +2 (Class XII) or its equivalent qualifying examination in the year 2012 or 2013 or if you appearing in +2 in 2014 are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2014.

JEE Main 2014 Important Dates:
Start of Online Application: November 15, 2013
Last date for Online Application: December 26, 2013 Extended till January 6, 2014
Date for Download of JEE Main 2014 Admit Card: March 13, 2014 onwards.
JEE Main 2014 Test Date (Offline)

Paper 1 - April 6, 2014 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm

Paper 2 – April 6, 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm
