I want to give the exam of Panjab University, Chandigarh Common Entrance Test and for that I want to get the details of dates of registration for PU CET so can you provide me that?

As you want to get the details of dates of registration for PU CET so here is the information of the same for you:

As on 27 June 2015 the dates for registration have been passed so here for your reference I am giving you the details of dates for the year of 2015 which can be taken as tentative for the year of 206:

Important Dates:
Apply online at website from March 18, 2015
Last date for submission of information on the website to generate the Bank Challan - April 28, 2015
Last date for deposit of fee in any branch of State bank of India using website generated challan - April 30, 2015 upto 4:00 p.m.
Last date for uploading of photograph, signature with rest of the information on the website- May 02, 2015
No correction will be entertained/ made regarding photograph, signature and any other information after - May 05, 2015 upto 5:00 pm.

PUCET is conducted every year by Panjab University, Chandigarh. It is a university level entrance exam organized to provide admission into UG, PG & doctoral level courses. Candidates qualifying the PUCET UG test will get admission into B. Pharmacy and B.Sc. (Hons.) programme. The University provides admission into B.Sc (Hons) through Choice based credit system (CBCS).

PU CET UG Admission 2020– Eligibility Criteria

One must be an Indian; any non Indian resident is not eligible for the exam.
One must have completed the 10+2 from CBCS, Delhi or any other recognized board.
A minimum of 50% is required in 10+2 to appear in the exam, a relaxation of 5% will be given for the students belonging from SC/ST/PWD category.
One who seek for admission in Punjab university must have passed the class 12th with physics, English, and chemistry as compulsory subjects, and one optional as well (mathematics, biology, biotechnology).
One must have 17 years of age , according to 31st December, at the time of admission.


PUCET UG 2020 Exam Pattern

PUCET exam is only conducted via offline mode.

For completing each section of the question paper candidates will be given 70 minutes straight, and for the PWD candidates, 20 minutes extra will be given.

The question paper is only available in English and candidates need to answer only in English.
The test paper comprises of all multiple-choice questions,

2 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.5 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

Questions are asked from 4 different fields which are- Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

60 questions from each section carrying two marks each, which makes the total 480 marks.
