MODULE-II LIQUIDITY MANAGEMENT (10 Hours) Cash-meaning, Nature and motives for holding cash. Factors determining cash needs. Cash management-Meaning, Objectives and functions. Optimum level of cash balance-Baumol model and Miller-Orr model. Management of cash inflows and outflows. Management of marketable securities. Cash budget. MODULE-III RECEIVABLES MANAGEMENT (10 Hours) Receivables-meaning and objectives. Cost and benefits of receivables. Credit policy and its variables.
