VIT is the Vellore Institute of Technology
It is affiliated VIT to University, Vellore

The admission in VIT University is on the basis of rank obtained in the VITEEE exam.

There is no range of score to secure a seat in VIT, it will depend for which course/specialization are you looking for pursue.

Generally in VIT, seats are filled up within the rank of 25,000.
And all top branches are filled up within the rank of 10,000.

VITEEE exam eligibility:
Passed in 12th or its equivalent with a minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemical and Mathematics or Biology (PCM/PCB)

Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) candidates are eligible only for
B.Tech Bioinformatics,
Bio-Medical engineering and
Biotechnology programmes

Candidates should not be more than 20 years old.
