The application fee is $35 (the application fee is non-refundable) Personal statement focusing on your motivation for entering the program Official transcripts from all undergraduate institutions attended A minimum GPA of 3.0 in pre-requisite education course-work A minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.00 grading system in major or field of interest (Probationary acceptance considered on a case by case basis) Results of professional teachers’ examinations prescribed by the Virginia Department of Education (PRAXIS I or SAT scores) Two recommendations Interview with the Director of the Education Program Upon admittance, a $300 deposit is required to enroll in the program. Aspirants who are having bachelor’s degree from another institution may participate in the M.A.T. program. The Master of Arts in teaching course offered by Randolph College prepare qualified teachers to be leaders in education. It consists of 36-credit-hours. Undergraduate students can complete initial teacher licensure in elementary or secondary education and a master’s degree after a 5th year of study in a summer-fall-spring cycle. Randolph College Admissions Requirements Admissions requirements for Master of Arts in Teaching or M.A.T: Candidates need to submit the following to the Admissions office: Graduate Application for Admission.
