Ragging In Nalsar
HI I would like to know about the anti ragging cell at the Nalsar University of Law as well as the guidelines of the supreme court decision on ragging?

The Student Bar Council assumes a dynamic part in sharpening the understudies, particularly first years, and gives an available discussion to any understudy to transparently talk up against ragging. Likewise, a devoted cell has been set up to investigate protests identifying with ragging. In case of any grievances, please do email vasanthi@nalsar.ac.in anti ragging cell members The Supreme Court’s decision: In perspective of the bearings of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the matter of "College of Kerala v/s. Committee, Principals, Colleges and others" in SLP no. 24295 of 2006 dated 16.05.2007 and that dated 8.05.2009 in Civil Appeal number 887 of 2009, and in light of the determination of the Central Government and the University Grants Commission to forbid, avoid and dispose of the scourge of ragging including any behavior by any understudy or understudies whether by words talked or composed or by a demonstration which has the impact of teasing, treating or taking care of with discourteousness a fresher or whatever other understudy, or enjoying unruly or indisciplined exercises by any understudy or understudies which causes or is liable to bring about disturbance, hardship or mental mischief or to raise trepidation or worry thereof in any fresher or some other understudy or requesting that any understudy do any demonstration which such understudy won't in the customary course do and which has the impact of creating or producing a feeling of disgrace, or torment or shame to antagonistically influence the build or mind of such fresher or some other understudy, with or without an aim to infer a twisted joy or flaunting force, power or predominance by an understudy over any fresher or some other understudy, in all advanced education organizations in the nation, and along these lines, to accommodate the sound improvement, physically and mentally, of all understudies, the University Grants Commission, in counsel with the Councils, delivers this Regulation. |
