Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test known as APTET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers.
Here are the criteria required:

Minimum Qualifications for Classes I-V:
The candidates those are already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates or doing final year of respective Teacher Education Course those are eligible.

The candidates should have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Minimum Qualifications for Classes VI-VIII: the candidates those are already in possession of Respective Teacher Education Certificates or pursuing final year of Respective Teacher Education Course.

The applicant should have B.A. / B.Sc./B.Com and pass in or pursuing final year of 2 – year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Exam pattern:
APTET Examination will be consist of two objective type papers.
For each question paper 150 marks, for carries 1 mark a total of 150.

Paper-I exam for teaching class I to class V in Andhra Pradesh lower primary schools

Paper-II exam for teaching class VI to VIII in Andhra Pradesh upper primary schools
