Age Limit:
Minimum Age - 18 Years; General - 30 Years, SC - 35 Years, OBC - 33 Years, In Service Employees - 45 Years. (as on 01/01/2014)

Educational Qualifications:
The applicant should have a Degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized university.
The applicant should have passed matriculation with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets)

Selection Process:
Selection is based on written test.

Written Examination (Qualifying Marks - 33 % in each subject but no candidate shall be considered to have qualified the written examination unless he/she obtains 40% marks in the aggregate of both subjects.)
