Baldev Singh Dhillon is an internationally renowned agricultural scientist and currently the Vice Chancellor of Punjab Agricultural University in India.

PAU was established in 1962 to serve the state of erstwhile Punjab. The university is inaugurated by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Prime Minister of India on July 8, 1963
