Yes you can apply for admission in Ph.D. in Pune University on the basis of NET score as candidates with valid GATE/ SET/ NET/ SRF/ JRF/ GPAT scores or with an MPhil degree completed from a recognised university are exempted from the written test conducted by Pune University for admission in PhD Course

Pune University generally conducts Ph.D Entrance Test for admission in PhD course

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D Entrance Test --
-Must have post graduate or masters degree in related field with a minimum of 50% or an equivalent GPA (Grade Point Average)
OR
-Must Possess masters or post graduate degree in Law faculty with no less than 55%
-The university provides 5% reservation of seats for students from the state of Maharashtra.

Pattern for Ph.D Entrance Test at Pune University
-Entrance test comprising of two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2.
-Paper 1 is a General Aptitude paper with 100 questions for a total of 100 marks.
-Paper 2 is a subject oriented paper with questions from subjects related to the field applied for.
