PTU CET Exam

I want to apply for Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test (PTU CET) exam so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria to apply for this exam?

Punjab Technical University Combined Entrance Test (PTU CET) is a state level entrance examination conducted by Punjab Technical University for the admission in various Undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, architecture and pharmacy.

PTU CET exam Eligibility

For B.Tech

10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects and Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science as the optional subject.

Those candidates having 3 years Engineering Diploma from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, would also be eligible for PTU CET examination.

For B.Arch

10+2 or its equivalent examination with minimum of 50% marks with Mathematics and English as the main subjects.

Those candidates having 3 years Diploma in Architecture with a minimum of 50% marks would also apply

For B.Pharm

10+2 or its equivalent examination with Chemistry and Physics as the main subjects and Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science as the optional subject.

Those candidates having 3 years Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks would also apply

Examination Pattern

PTU CET consists of objective type questions in the subjects of mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

The medium of question paper is English.

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or Biotech/Biology/ Computer science would carry 60 marks as each subject.
