Re: PSC Disease Progresses

The Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, is a liver disease which causes the bile ducts inside and outside the liver to become, scarred, inflamed and blocked. As this process continues, liver cells die, and scarring develops. Then the liver starts to fail, and a liver transplant is the solution of it. The causes of the Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis are unknown; PSC progresses slowly following are the symptoms of it:

1. Itching
2. Fatigue (feeling tired all the time)

3. Jaundice (yellowing of the eyes or skin; the color change is due to bile that gets in the blood and eventually in the skin and eyes)
4. Fever, chills and soreness in the upper part of the abdomen
