Gujarat Public Service Commission Assistant Engineer exam paper pattern & syllabus is given below:

Competitive Exam will be taken in Gujarati and English both medium.

Preliminary Exam content will be objective type which include oral exam(150 Marks), Test of reasoning(150 Marks), and General knowledge(200 Marks).

Main exam will have 5 subjects which are Gujarati(200 Marks), English(100), optional subject(200 Marks), long questions and general knowledge 1 and 2 objective types(200-200 Marks).

General knowledge-1 includes culture and Indian , normal economical matters, public , services of state government subjects.

General knowledge-2 includes current affairs, sociology, and science and technology and also.
This type of interview was for 100 Marks. blind candidates will get 20 minutes more in objective exam and 30 minutes more in long questions.
