Procedure to Join Merchant Navy after 12th in PCM

Sir I have completed 12th pcm from up I can join merchant of navy my age 16 my , 10th persentege is 84%
And12th is 74% I can join sir

Sir my age is 5/3/1991 can I join merchant navy as a deck cadet and i have no 10+2 but diploma in ece

As you asking I am telling You can join the merchant navy after 12th in PCM in two ways. If you do not want to study any further then there is deck cadet job for you to apply. If a company selects you then it will arrange a 3 months long pre-sea training for you.

If you can study further it would be nice. Candidates who have completed B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Technology are also eligible for several officer level jobs in Merchant Navy.
The officer level jobs are well paid and comes with additional perks.

Eligibility to Join Merchant Navy

1. You should have completed 12th with PCM.

2. Only umarried candidates are eligible.

3. The age limit is 20 years.

4. SC and ST can apply till 25 years.

5. You will have to pass a medical test.

6. Physical requirements will have to be met such as at least 5 feet height, 6/6 vision etc.

B.Sc. Nautical Science
B.E. Marine Engineering
B.E. Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering
B.E. Petroleum Engineering
