As you want to know that how to convert CGPA to percentage for IIT Madras So, here for you I am providing you the same. As per IITM norms, all CGPAs are converted to Percentages as follows. If the CGPA is X out of 10, then the corresponding percentage is (X-0.75) 100. CGPAs in scales other than 10, will be linearly scaled to 10 before applying the above conversion formula. UG stands for the UG percentage marks (see notes below), GS stands for Gate Score Weighted Score (WS) is calculated as 50% of UG percentage marks + 50% of PG percentage marks. Formula: App Type Category Criterion Full-Time General (WS >= 75) OBC/SC/ST or PD (WS >= 70) Part-Time General (WS >= 75) OBC/SC/ST or PD (WS >= 70) Criteria for short listing. CGPA x 10 is the rule if you passed from IIT Madras
