PRIST University was established in the year 1985. It is affiliated to UGC, AICTE, NAAC .

It is a deemed university in the town of Vallam, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu, India.

It offers admission into B.tech course .

Eligibility –

Applicants must have pass class 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject .

Applicants must have secured 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category)

Lateral entry to second year----

A . Applicants must have pass Diploma exam with at least 45% marks (40% in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) in relevant branch .

B . Applicants must have pass B. Sc Degree with 45% marks (40% in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) and passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
