Staff Selection Commission Conducts a number of Open and Departmental Examinations throughout the Year to Recruit Employees in the various Offices of the Government of India .

SSC CHSL Exam Pattern

Objective Written Test (Tier – I)
Reasoning – 50 questions
Mathematics – 50 questions
General Knowledge – 50 questions
English – 50 questions

SSC CHSL Preparation Tips :

First Step to Successfully Crack the SSC CHSL Exam is to Go Through the Syllabus.

Mark the Topics that you find Difficult So that you can Start Working on it in the Beginning.

The English Section will be Fairly Easy for those who are Fluent in the Language and have Studied it till Class 10.

This will Consist of Synonyms, Antonyms, Grammar, Sentence Formation/Correction and Passages.

The key is to be Consistent with Written Practice.

You Can use the Books you used to Prepare for Class 10 and Class 12 Boards.

Solve Previous year Question paper as much as you can.

The Questions are Repeated over the Years with Same Values.

For English section try to learn at least 10 new English words daily. Note down the Meaning and example of each word you find unfamiliar or difficult to remember.

Sum up all the one word substitutions, Idioms and phrases and vocabulary from the previous year books and learn them to score good in English section in SSC CHSL Exam
