Pragathi Krishna Gramin Bank with Head Office at Bellary came into existence on 23rd August 2013 with the amalgamation of 2 RRBs viz, erstwhile Pragathi Gramin Bank (Sponsored by Canara Bank with Head Office at Bellary) and erstwhile Krishna Grameena Bank (Sponsored by State Bank of India with Head Office at Gulbarga. The Bank was formed as per gazette Notification of Government of India No. F1/5/2011- RRB (Karnataka) dated 23.08.2013

Performance :

* Total Business reached at Rs. 23401 Crore with growth rate of 20.24 %
* Operating Profit improved to Rs. 244.29 Crore with growth rate of 26.98%
* Bank earned a Net Profit of Rs. 103.77 Crore from Rs. 61.08 Crore with a growth rate of 69.89 %
*Net NPA level to Advances Outstanding brought down from 2.95 % to 1.96%
* Bank added Rs. 3939 Crore new business during the year
* Total Bank clientele stood at 88 lakh - 78 lakh under deposits and 10 lakh under advances
* Aggregate Deposits increased to Rs. 11123 Crores with a growth of 18.87 %
