Can you tell me in detail about the PNB or Punjab National Bank Electracard service?

3D Secure is a new service from Punjab National Bank, India in association with MasterCard®,Visa and Rupay that helps us to shop online securely with existing Punjab National Bank Debit / Global Visa Credit Card and can be used only on merchant websites that subscribe to services of "MasterCard® SecureCode™" or "Verified By Visa™ (VbV)" or Paysecure respectively.

3D Secure Service confirms identity through a simple check process when one makes online purchases. 3D Secure Service provides with a password to protect one’s online transactions just like one use one’s PIN at the ATM.

Punjab National Bank Debit Cards

Registration for MasterCard SecureCode and Rupay Paysecure is a mandatory requirement to make online purchases using Punjab National Bank Debit Cards.

For security one has enabled online purchases only at that subscribe to MasterCard SecureCode and Rupay Paysecure.

This is because one can authenticate at the time of purchase by entering MasterCard SecureCode password and no one else can misuse one’s Punjab National Bank Debit Card.

Punjab National Bank Credit Cards

Registration for verified by Visa is a mandatory requirement to make online purchases using Punjab National Bank Global Visa Credit Card on verified by Visa enabled merchant websites.

3D Secure Service enables to authenticate at the time of purchase by using 3D Secure Service Password and protects Punjab National Bank Global Visa Credit Card against misuse.
