MBA (Master in Business Administration) Program offered by Guanghua School of Management Peking University provides an international learning environment, direct access to China's leading academics, and un-paralleled opportunities to network and learn from China's business elite.

MBA Curriculum

The Guanghua MBA program is taught through required core modules that provide a steady general management education, and elective courses which facilitate students to tailor their education to their specific interests.

Most core modules are taken in the first year, while the second year is planned to allow students to undertake internships and other professional projects alongside academic study.

Pre Course
It offers an optional pre-course to prepare admitted students for the semester ahead. This pre-course serves to reintroduce students to a number of key subjects including statistics, accounting, economics, business fundamentals, and Chinese language.

Core Modules
Taken mainly in the first year of the program, core modules provide students with a well-balanced general management education in subjects such as managerial economics, marketing management, corporate finance, strategic management, organizational behaviour, operations management, and more. A total of 31 credits must be accrued through core modules.

Integrated Practicum Project
This required section is an experiential learning experience that provides students with an opportunity to undertake a real life consulting project for an external client.

One has the chance to apply the knowledge to a real business problem while gaining practical insight into China’s business landscape. Its students often take benefit of this project to expand the professional network in China.

Elective Courses
It offers over 30 different elective courses covering a wide range of topics. From these, one tailors the education to the personal interests by accruing 14 credits.

Most electives take place in the third semester, allowing the opportunity to secure employment whilst writing their thesis during the fourth and final semester.

One with the requisite level of fluency in Chinese can also choose to attend Chinese language MBA electives.
