Rabindra Bharati University was founded on May 8, 1962. University offers Certificate courses, Diploma courses, Undergraduate Degree Courses, Postgraduate Degree Courses and Research/Doctoral-Level Courses.

Eligibility for admission to Ph.D Program:

Candidates must have master’s degree in relevant subject.

Candidates must secure minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or its equivalent grade from any UGC recognized university in India or an equivalent degree.

Students who have qualified/learned M.Phil as per UGC regulations /NET SET/GATE/ UGC (JRF)/CSIR (JRF) or teacher fellowship holder will be exempted from appearing in the written entrance test to be conducted by the university.
