PhD Eligibility criteria:

Candidates who have done masters degree in the relevant stream can apply for the Ph.D. Eligibility Test of related subject.

Candidate should have qualified their master degree programme with scoring a minimum of 55% marks (or 50% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category)

Candidates who have passed CSIR-NET / UGC-NET / APSET / GATE / JEST / GPAT are exempted from the Phd eligibility test.

Candidates, who have been awarded CSIR-NET / UGC-NET / ICMR / DBT-JRF / ICAR / INSPIRE fellowship and Teacher Fellowship, are also excused from the test

Candidates holding M. Phil. Degree in regular mode from Osmania University in the related subject or Ph. D. in an allied subject approved by Osmania University may not apply.
