I want to do Ph.D from Mahatma Gandhi University Meghalaya so please tell me the eligibility required for admission in it?

Mahatma Gandhi University was established on 2 October 1983 in Kottayam district of Kerala, India

It has been approved by UGC and accredited (B+) by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India.

It offers Ph.D. course

There shall be three categories of Ph.D. candidates as listed below:
a) Full -time
b) Part-time (Internal)
c) Part-time (External)

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must have Master‘s degree with at least 55% marks (CGPA 5.5 - 6 in a scale of 10) from recognized University

Duration of the Ph.D Program
A candidate will be allowed to submit his Ph. D. Thesis only after two years from the date of registration as notified by the University for the full time Candidates.

Entrance Examination
University conducts an Entrance Examination for all eligible candidates for admission in Ph.D. course
