The Graphic Era University Dehradun offers Doctoral study in various research areas of Engineering, Sciences and all courses based on the guidelines of UGC.

Admissions are on the basis of GATE/NET/SLET scores or written test followed by interview by the Department concerned with due attention to National/State Reservation.

A Ph.D. degree is awarded in recognition of high achievements and independent research and application of scientific knowledge to solving technical and scientific problems.
