Can you tell me about the admission process and fee structure in Ph. D course in Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) as I want to check it before taking admission in it?

The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE) was established in 1950 and is a deemed university in which is accredited as a "B+" institute by the NAAC.

Admission
Admission to Ph.D. is made through a Combined Entrance Test for Ph.D.

The test is followed by a viva-voce to be conducted by the two Subject Experts to be appointed by the Vice Chancellor in consultation with the Director Research, to adjudge the research interest of the candidate.

The Test is of maximum 300 marks and viva-voce of 30 marks.

The number of candidates called for viva-voce will be five times the number of available seats in a subject.

Merit will be drawn from the combined marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test and Viva-voce (Max. Marks 330).

Admission is given against available vacant seats in a subject.

Reservation policy of the State Government shall be followed while giving admission.

The students who have qualified UGC/CSIR (JRF) Exam./SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship holder have also to appear for combined entrance test for Ph.D. to get admission to the course.
