Single/Multiple Correct Response (For every question, there can be one or more correct responses from given alternatives)

250 (With five alternative responses and single/multiple correction options)

Negative Marking
Yes (Incorrect responses will incur negative marking)

Marking Scheme
Marks will be given for every correct answer
Marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer
No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions

Syllabus
PGIMER 2018 will be a theory exam and its syllabus will include subjects studied during MBBS, i.e. Pre-Clinical, Para-Clinical and Clinical.

Method of making merit list
Percentage scores will be converted into percentile scores to determine rank of a candidate

Method of Resolving Ties (in case of equal percentile scores)
Priority will be given in following order:
1. Higher aggregate marks in MBBS.
2. Seniority (by age).
