Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) Executive Trainee exam pattern is as given below:

There will be two papers in the entrance exam –
General Aptitude and
Electrical Engineering/ Electrical (Power) Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Power Systems Engineering respectively

Total Number of Questions: 65 each

Total Marks Allotted: 100 each

Aptitude section will carry 15% of the total marks and 85% of marks to the subjects chosen for the second paper.

Marks Wise Distribution of Questions:

For General Aptitude section:

1 mark questions: 5 Questions
2 mark questions: 5 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 10

For Subject Specific Questions:
1 mark questions: 25 Questions
2 mark questions: 30 Questions
Total Number of Questions: 55
Total Marks Allotted: 85
