Permissions and License for Coaching Center

Hi! I am Jai and I have completed my master degree from NIT and I am interested to provide coaching for GATE and other competitive exam. Is there any Permissions and License needed for Coaching Center ??

Sir, as you said that you are interested to provide coaching for GATE and other competitive exam, it is good thing that you want to opt education as a profession.
Let me tell you that there is no needed of permission for opening simple coaching centre.

But if you desire to construct it large scale then and turn over a large amount of money then you need to registered as a trade license and you need to pay tax for it and Service tax of 12.3% is very necessary irrespective of the turnover .

Note: I am not sure because I am not a law person it would be better to post this into Legal section.
