The Periyar University at Salem was established by the Tamil Nadu government on 17th September 1997 as per the provisions of the Periyar University Act, 1997.

The University gave top priority for the students welfare. It provides top class facility for the well being of students like hostel facility- separate for both mems and womens, cafeteria,internet centre , etc.

Eligibility:- The eligibility for the following courses:

(i) MBA- Two years Full Time Programme:

Eligibility : Any Graduate with 50% of marks is eligible for MBA.

Admission: Through TANCET/MAT-2012 scores, group discussion, personal interview and academic score in UG programme.

Last Date for receipt of filled in applications: 10 days from the publication of TANCET – 2012 results.

(ii) MBA (EXECUTIVE) (18 Months)

Eligibility: Students with any degree and having working experience of at least 2 years can apply for it.

Admissions are taken on the basis of TANCET/MAT SCORES, group disscusion, personal interview, academic score in UG programme.
