Patna University, the first university in Bihar, was established in 1917 during the British Raj, and is the seventh oldest university of the Indian subcontinent.

Admission Details :

Eligibility Criteria :

The candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in one of the following programmes:
(i) B.Ed.
(ii) B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.
(iii) B.El.Ed.
(iv) D.El.Ed./D.Ed. with a Graduate Degree (with 50% mark in each).

Entrance Test : the University Conducts the MEET Entrance Test for Admission Into the MEd Course

Structure of the Entrance Test

The Test Paper will consist of Four Sections A, B, C & D. The nature of the Entrance Test (MEET) will be Objective and the Items (read questions) will be of Multiple Choice Type.

Total number of questions will be 100 and each question will carry one mark. The duration of the Test will be One hour & Forty minutes
