Passport Office Timings

Hello sir, I want to apply for passport. In which timing may I go for passport service? Can any one provide me passport office timing?

One of the best passport service provides in India is passport seva Kendra. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is responsible for issuance of Passports to Indian Citizens through a network of 37 Passport offices across the Country and 180 Indian Embassies and Consulates abroad.

For passport applicant has to apply for passport and submit parents/legal guardian's address proof along with his/her date of birth proof. Passport would be granted to the applicant subject to approval of Competent Authority.

The timings of Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) are as follows:

Monday-Friday
9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Token Issuance
9:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Lunch Hours
1:30 PM - 2:00 PM

All passport offices in India work from 10.00 am to 5.30 pm, from Monday to Friday. Saturday & Sunday the passport offices do not work:

Passport Office timings in India are as follows:

Status Enquiry Help Counter – 10.00 am to 12.30 pm

Submission of applications – 10.00 am to 01.00 pm

Miscellaneous Services – 10.00 am to 12.30 pm

Delivery of miscellaneous services – 02.30 pm to 04.30 pm

Delivery of passport if completed – 04.30 pm to 5.30 pm
