The Pasadena Mental Health Center (PMHC) was established in 1965 by a group of mental health professionals and concerned community members to give high quality, easy to get to and reasonably priced mental health services in the diverse Northwest Pasadena area and surrounding communities.

PMHC has built a winning track record of offering comprehensive, bilingual/bi-cultural programs serving individuals, couples, children, and families.

As you want to know about the Internships at PMHC and Five Acres

In 1999, PMHC expanded its tradition of training and began a clinical imprison training program, thereby giving succeeding generations of therapists with practical experience in the counseling field.

It has full-grown from four interns representing three local universities to 33 interns from 11 different university programs.

In 2014 Pasadena Mental Health Center merged with Five Acres, a large multidisciplinary child and family services agency founded in 1888.

Five Acres offers an array of services including residential care and education, mental health services in homes and schools, foster care and adoption, and domestic violence prevention.

As of January 1st, 2016 they are accepting seminar applications and resumes for the 2016-2017 placements.
The application deadline is March 31st, 2016.
