Eligibility Criteria
For taking admission in part time Ph.D in computer science candidate must have post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks.

Admission Criteria
A candidate who will apply for part time Ph.D in computer science, he/she will have to complete two stages of admission.
Firstly candidates will have to give written test for this course.
And in second stage candidates will have to give an interview.

If candidates would be selected in these stages then they can take admission in this course.

Can you tell me if LPU or Lovely Professional University offers Part Time Ph. D in Computer Science as my Brother wants to take admission in it?

As per my knowledge LPU or Lovely Professional University does not offer Part Time Ph. D in Computer Science. It offers the course in full time mode.

LPUNEST (National Eligibility and Scholarship Test) is an eligibility and scholarship test for admission to some of the Undergraduate, Post Graduate, Lateral Entry Engineering programmes, etc. offered by LPU.

Selection Criteria:

An applicant is short listed for interview on the basis of score in the entrance examination. The final selection for admission in Ph. D is based on the performance in the interview.

Exemption from Entrance Test Applicants who qualify UGC (NET/JRF)/CSIR (NET /JRF)/ICAR (JRF/SRF) Exam/SLET/GATE/GPAT/ICAR hold Teacher Fellowship are exempted from Ph .D entrance test.

Student holding Maulana Azad National Fellowship for Minority Community students of UGC and Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship for SC are also exempted from written test.

Exemption is for written test only but applicant needs to appear for interview.

One needs to bring the original documents against which exemption sought at the time of interview.
