P.hd Admission in Mumbai University

I have completed MA Degree with Sociology Discipline recently. Now I am thinking to do Ph.D from Mumbai University. So will you please tell is there any Entrance Test conducted by Mumbai University for admission in Ph.D Degree?

The Department of Sociology of Mumbai University offers Ph.D egree with Sociology discipline.

Eligibility Criteria:
Students must have completed Master Degree with Sociology discipline from recognized University with minimum 55% marks (50% for Open and 45% marks for reserved category).

Selection Mode:
There is an Entrance Test conducted by Mumbai University for admission in Ph.D Sociology Course.

Eligibility Fees:
Rs.220 /- for students from universities in Maharashtra
Rs. 320/- for students from other University

Duration:
Four Years

Academic Structure:
After Registration Ph.D. Course Work – one semester full time regular mode.

Registration Fee:
For general category - Rs.l000/-
For reserved category – Rs.500/-
