Overseas Citizen of India Eligible for EAMCET Exam
Whether Overseas Citizen of India are eligible for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test or not ? I have completed 12th from CBSE Board at Saudi Arabia.

Yes definitely after completion of12th from CBSE Board in Saudi Arabia you are eligible for the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test . EAMCET exam is taken by JNTU, Hyderabad for admission into professional courses of Engineering, Medical and Architecture in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Eligibility Criteria: Aspirants should be of Indian Nationality. Persons of India Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders are allowed provided they meet the specified criteria. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy the Local or Non-Local status Candidates should obtain a minimum of 45% in 10+2 (40% for the reserved category) Candidates must have passed the Intermediate Exam or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as the main subjects along with the Bio-Technology or Chemistry or Biology as the optional subjects. Applicants must have completed 16 years Exam Pattern: EAMCET comprise of 160 questions in total from which 80 will be of Mathematics, 40 of Chemistry and last 40 of Physics. All these questions will be of objective type. Each question will be of one mark. Tentative Dates: Start of Online Application Forms: third week of February , 2015 Last Date for Application Form: first week of April , 2015 Correction of Application Form: second week of April , 2015 Hall Ticket Download: second week of May, 2015 EAMCET exam date: last week of May, 2015 Result: second week of June , 2015 |
