The School of Management and the Faculty of Law at University of Ottawa, jointly offer the Joint degree of MBA/LLB and MBA/LLL. Duration of Both the Programs are 4 years. Upon successful completion of the Program, graduates will receive a degree from both the Faculty of Law and the School of Management.

University of Ottawa offer this program under Telfer School of Management

Curriculum of Joint degree of MBA/LLB

Year 1
Complete JD First Year

Year 2
Complete full MBA program (consisting of 48 credits rather than 54 credits) over one academic year plus the summer. 43.5 credits consist of core courses and 4.5 credits of business-related electives.

Year 3
Complete JD Second Year with the additional requirement of successfully completing a minimum of 34 credits

Year 4
Complete 17 remaining credits in the JD program by December

Applicants must meet the following requirements for the joint program:

-A baccalaureate with a cumulative grade point average in the range of 80 per cent;
- A personal statement demonstrating why the applicant is uniquely suited for this program;
-Two reference letters and at least one of which should come from an academic source
-LSAT scores
- Proficiency in either English or French.
