M.Sc. Geology or Master of Science in Geology is a postgraduate Geology course. The duration of M.Sc. in Geology is mostly two years academic years with four Semesters Eligibility A candidate must have passed B.Sc. (Gen) Examination with Geology and combination of any two of the following subjects: Physics/ Chemistry/Maths/Botany/Zoology/Environmental Science (including Geology). Job Prospects Geologists work in deserts, ocean floors, mountains etc doing exploratory work. They identify rocks, minerals, fossils and also conduct geological surveys and construct maps.
