As you want I am here giving you the information about the Open Enrollment process For Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Schools .

LAUSD’s Open Enrollment Process:

1. Parents or guardians can apply for admit their child to one or more schools.
2. Applications will be accepted if there is spacefor new open enrollment at the desired school.

3.Application form filled must be complete and accurate.

4.When an open enrollment transfer student is ready to the next school level a new application must submitted to the school.

5. Application must submit within the deadline to apply for the admission.

These Programs are not part of the Student Integration Programs and have a Separate Application Process.

Open Enrollment Application Process for 2015-16 Will Run May 4 - May 22 in the LAUSD

Applications written in Various Languages and The schools Listed with Open Seats Appear at the bottom of this file.

They can be Printed out.

May 4 Marks the Starting Date to apply for a Transfer To another School During the Open Enrollment Period in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in the 2015-16 school year.


The District’s State-Mandated Open Enrollment Policy Enables Students anywhere in LAUSD to apply to any Regular, Grade-Appropriate Los Angeles public school with Designated open enrollment seats.

It is Anticipated that Approximately 6,200 Seats will be Available at about 200 schools, based on the staff’s knowledge of new housing and other demographic trends in the local attendance area.

By May 4, all schools will have reference lists in their main office with the names of the campuses with available open enrollment seats in 2015-16.
