Online PGCET Seat Availability
I have given the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) . Will you please provide information regarding the Karnataka PGCET Seat Allotment details ?

The KEA will announce the Seat Allotment for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) students tentatively in September 2015. Seat Allotment is generally held in two rounds. The Seat Allotment based on the ranks obtained by the candidates in PGCET exam and the options entered by them during option entry. The first round of Seat Allotment will be for the GATE qualified candidates. The remaining vacant seats will be offered to Karnataka PGCET qualified candidates from Karnataka and other students in the ratio 90:10.: The Physically Disabled persons will be first allotted seats as per their rank and options. (3% reservation) The other candidates will be allotted the seats as per Rank List and the options entered by the candidates Candidates have the following options after seat allotment. Choice-1: Candidates satisfied with their Seat Allotment must confirm the seat by choosing Choice 1. For which they have to download and print the Challan (in Triplicate). The Challan comprises details of the candidate like Name, Fee to be paid, Bank Account Number, CET No, College / Course Allotted details, etc. Applicants must pay fees in any nearest branch of the State Bank of Mysore / Axis Bank / Indian Bank. Choice 2: If they choose this option, they cannot download the Admission Order NOR join the allotted college. To confirm their seats, wait for Seat Allotment Second Round. Choice 3: Applicants choose for choice 3 if they are not satisfied with the allotted seat No fees are required to be paid in such a case. Choice 4: Candidates who are not interested must exercise the Choice 4 The Seat Allotment Procedure will be the same as in the first round. Students failing to report to the colleges after allotment will be liable for legal action. |
