Hello sir I want to apply online for Central Police Organizations (S.I) Exam so can you please tell me what is the qualification require for this exam?? Please give me all details about this exam??

Central Police organization (Sub-Inspectors) Exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on National level to fill required number of candidates to the post of Sub Inspectors in various Central Government Police Organizations like CRPF, ITBP, CBI, SSB, CISF, BSF and SI in Delhi Police etc.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university and equivalent.

An applicant who has appeared in the final year of degree exam and is awaiting the result is also eligible to take the exam.

Age limit:
Aspiring candidates should be between 20 years to 25 years of age.

SSC CPO (S.I) Exam Syllabus

Paper I: General Studies

a. General Intelligence and Reasoning
It would include questions of both verbal and non verbal type. The test will include questions on analogies, similarities, and differences, space visualization problem solving analysis judgment, decision making visual memory discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning verbal and figure classification arithmetical number series non-verbal series etc. The test will also include questions designed to test the candidates' ability to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.

b. General Knowledge and General Awareness
Questions will be aimed to test the candidate's general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of any educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, economic scene, General polity and scientific research.

c. Numerical Ability/Quantitative Aptitude
The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers, decimals and fractions, and relationships between numbers, It will test sense of order of magnitude, estimation or prediction for the solution to real life problems and knowledge of alternative computation procedure to find answers.


d. English Comprehension

Paper II English language and Comprehension

The candidates will be mainly tested in:

Simple and plain use of English Language and clarity of expression.
Effective Communication skill in English with due economy of words.

Hey as per my idea last date for applying online was over and here I ma giving you basic details

Eligibility:

Candidates are required to possess Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University or equivalent will be to apply.

Age limit:

Candidates have to be between the 20 years to 25 years.

Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules.


Salary:

For the post of Sub Inspector (SI) the Pay Band will be Rs.9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

Selection criteria

Candidates will get selected on the basis of the Written Examination CPO in two phases, Physical Endurance Test, Medical Examination and Interview/personality test.

Physical Endurance Test:

For Male candidates:

(a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds.

(b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes.

(c) Long Jump - 3.65 meters in 3 chances.

(d) High Jump - 1.2 meters in 3 chances.

(e) Shot put (16 Lbs) - 4.5 meters in 3 chances.

For Female Candidates:

(a) 100 meters race in 18 seconds.

(b) 800 meters race in 4 minutes.

(c) Long Jump - 2.7 meters (9 feet) in 3 chances.

(d) High Jump - 0.9 meters (3 feet) in 3 chances.

Application Fee:

The amount of Rs.100 must be paid as an application fee payable through "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)”.

SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman and all category Women no need to pay any fee.
