The ONGC is Oil and Natural Gas Corporation located in India. This Corporation issued a notification for graduate trainee executives. This Corporation is provide job opportunities for graduate trainees in the field such as geology, geophysics, reservoir, chemistry, production, drilling, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, civil, finance, HR etc.

Concerned Subject
General Awareness
Aptitude Test comprising of questions from Reading, Comprehension, Verbal/Non-Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation etc.

Exam syllabus
General awareness
This section has questions on general topography, history, and economy of India. Questions may also be asked about famous personalities of India, and current events.

General aptitude
The general aptitude section has questions related to the following fields:
Reading comprehension- This tests your basis comprehension skills. An unseen passage will be given to you and you will be asked questions based on the unseen passage.

Quantitative aptitude- This tests your general mathematical abilities. Some common questions in this section include time-distance problems, work problems, river-boat problems, percentages, averages, and ratios.

Data interpretation- This section tests your ability to make sense of data. You can expect graphs, pie-charts, and Venn diagram based questions here.
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning- This has reasoning problems that test your reasoning abilities.

There will be 80 questions with 80 marks.

Each question carries 1 mark.

40 Questions on general awareness with 40 marks.

Each question on General Awareness carries 1 mark.

30 questions on Aptitude with 30 marks.

Final selection in this exam will be 60 marks of written test .

There is an interview of 15 marks.

Qualifying marks for a student is 25.

ONGC Graduate Trainee Paper Pattern
There will be 80 questions on Concerned Subjects with 80 marks. Each question on Concerned Subjects carries 1 single mark.
There will be 40 questions on General Awareness with 40 marks. Each question on General Awareness carries 1 single mark.
And there will be 30 questions on Aptitude with 30 marks. Each single question on General Awareness carries 1 mark.
The weight-age for final selection in this exam will be 60 marks of written test .There is an interview of 15 marks. The qualifying marks for a student is 25.
