The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the Indian Armed Forces. The President of India serves as Supreme Commander of the Indian Navy. The Chief of Naval Staff, usually a four-star officer in the rank of Admiral, commands the navy. Well buddy at present there are no jobs in the Indian Navy at the officers posts. Officer Entry Posts (1) Executive (General Service Officer, Submarine Officer, Hydrographic Officer, Diving officer, Naval Armament Inspection Officer, Law Officer, Provost Officer, Logistics Officer, Pilot Officer, Information Technology, Observer Officer) (2) Engineering (Engineering General Service Officer, Submarine Engineer Officer, Naval Construction Officer) (3) Electrical (General Service, Submarine Electrical Officer) in Cadet Entry (NDA), 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry, University Entry Scheme (SSC), Short Service Commission (GS), Short Service Commission (Submarine) (4) Education (Education Officer in Short Service Commission, Permanent Commission) (5) Medical (Doctors in Short Service Commission, Permanent Commission) Education requirements It is mandatory that all Degrees and educational qualifications are from Educational Institutions recognized by the competent authority in the field. Degrees/mark sheets must be original or attested by appropriate authorities, as asked for in the advertisement. Way of Selection Officers recruitment is advertised through the Employment News and all important National and Regional news papers/dailies. Selection for Permanent Commission through 10 + 2 NDA / Indian Naval Academy cadet entry and CDSE(Graduate) entry is through a written examination conducted by the UPSC, followed by an interview by the Service Selection Board (SSB) |
