The Integrated Odette MBA offered by University of Windsor - Odette School of Business is a limited-entry program, meaning that admissions are highly selective. The admission process examines overall academic performance and aptitude of the applicant. It seeks excellent students who can understand complex issues, manage multiple projects and communicate effectively. It is open to those with undergraduate degrees in engineering, science, business, the arts and social sciences. It also includes students with a diverse geographical background, both within North America and abroad. Here candidate has solid academics, interesting experience and a dedication to improving society. The application is assessed using the following criteria: Undergraduate and Graduate Grades While the cumulative grade point average is assessed, additional weight is placed on grades from the last two years of one’s undergraduate or graduate degree. One who have a cumulative average of B- (70-72.9%) or a B (73-76.9%) average over their last 20 courses is considered, but successful one generally have a cumulative average of B (73-76.9%) or better. Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) One must have a minimum total GMAT score of 550, a verbal score of 26 or better and a quantitative score of 30 or better to be considered for the program. Successful candidates generally have total GMAT scores of 580 or better. Letters of Reference One needs to provide two academic letters of reference. Resumes One needs to e-mail a copy of your resume, outlining work and educational experiences to mba@uwindsor.ca. It should also describe leadership qualities as demonstrated through extra-curricular activities, charity work, and community involvement. Proficiency in multiple languages is an asset. Language Proficiency Applicants whose first language is not English must achieve a satisfactory score on one of the following tests (minimum score in parentheses): TOEFL (600 paper, 250 computer), MELAB (84), CAEL (70), IBT (100), or IELTS (7.0) Work Experience Work experience is not required but may be considered to enhance an application. |
