OBC Certificate Important for IIT JEE or not
Is the OBC certificate is important at the time of IIT JEE form submission or not ??

At the time of submission of IIT-JEE form, you need not to submit your OBC certificate. But after selection in IIT-JEE & at the time of counselling you have to submit your OBC certificate to get quota and facilities of OBC category .. Eligibility Criteria of IIT: You have to passed 12th grade examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics subject from a well recognized board of education For admission you have to passed IIT JEE entrance examination. General and OBC candidates must have secured at least 60% marks and SC/ST candidate securing 55% marks in 12th can apply for IIT-JEE exam. Number of attempts: The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to 03 (three) JEE Main Pattern For Paper 1(B.E/B.Tech courses), it is in both off and online modes. For Paper 2(B.Arch/B.Planning),it is in offline mode only. Paper 1 - for B.E/B.TECH courses Duration: 3 hrs Paper 2 - for B.ARCH/B. PLANNING Mathematics – Part I - objective questions Aptitude Test - Part II - objective questions Drawing Test - Part III - to test drawing aptitude Duration - 3 Hours For more details I am attaching a PDF file with it so you can get it easily. |

Here I am providing the information regarding the a ist of certificates and other documents that are to be uploaded at the time of online registration for JEE (Advanced) 2015. OBC-NCL certificate (FORM EC2) issued on or after June 1, 2014 and conforming to the latest guidelines of the Government of India. Disability certificate (FORM EC3) issued by a district medical board / competent authority. Dyslexic candidate needs to submit FORM EC6 instead of FORM EC3. (1) Class X certificate if the date of birth is mentioned in it OR birth certificate. (2) A colour photograph of full frontal (face) view, with the head centred in the frame covering 70-80% of the photograph and taken within the last six months. (3) Class XII (or equivalent examination) certificate (for those who appeared for this exam in 2014). (4) Scanned copy of left-hand thumb impression. (5) Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature. (6) If the name is not same as in the Class X certificate, gazette notification showing the change of name. Candidates whose Class XII examination Board is outside India---- A certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination they have passed is equivalent to the Class XII examination.
