Due to the selective and competitive nature of the admissions process for Executive MBA: New York City offered by Leonard N. Stern School of Business in New York University, one is encouraged to come in for an interview and submit their formal applications as soon as possible. One should ensure that the Admissions Committee has received all parts of their application by the earliest possible deadline.

Application Process

Online application is encrypted and all personal information is protected in accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
In order to be considered for admission, applicants must have an undergraduate degree and at least six years of full-time work experience upon submission of the Pre-Application.

Step 1
Fill out the Pre-Application, a brief snapshot of professional experience that should take no more than 10-15 minutes to complete. One will also need to submit an up-to-date resume. There is no fee for the pre-application (Part I of the online application).

Step 2
Once the Admissions Committee has received pre-application, a representative will contact to schedule an interview. The interview is evaluative and required for all applicants. It is designed to provide with more information about Sterns Executive MBA program and to determine whether program is a good fit for you.

Step 3
Submit the Formal Application. One will receive an email with a link to the Formal Application once the Pre-Application has been submitted. One is not required to attend an interview prior to submitting the formal application, although it is recommended that do so.

Rolling Admissions
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they are complete. One should ensure that the Admissions Committee has received all parts of their application by the earliest possible deadline.

Visit Campus
Attend an Executive MBA information session where one will meet prospective students and recent graduates who could become part of future network and experience the excellence that distinguishes Sterns Executive MBA program from all the rest.

Applicants who have completed both the pre-application and the admissions interview are eligible for a class visit, where one will observe the dynamic energy at the core of the NYU Stern Executive MBA program.
