NTSE Preparation

I am doing preparation of National Talent Search NTSE Examination so can you please tell me the tips for the preparation of exam?

National Talent Search Examination NTSE is a national level talent search and scholarship exam conducted by NCERT for only Class X students studying in India.

NTSE Exam preparation tips-

Start preparing for NTSE at least two months before the exam.

Go for self-study as it will be more helpful for NTSE

Follow NCERT books of classes IX and X for NTSE preparation religiously.

Solve sample question papers as possible as.

NTSE tests your mental ability through the mental ability section of the test called MAT.

R.S Aggarwal’s handbook is immensely helpful for MAT section.

For mocks, refer to Arihant and Tata McGrawHill books as they clearly point out difficulty level of NTSE.

You must also read a brilliant General Knowledge book for out of course questions.

Make Time Management

Although there is no set syllabus for NTSE, the SAT usually follows your school curriculum.

From 2013, NTSE will conducted for class 10 students.

Hence the syllabus for SAT would include maths, physics, chemistry, biology, history, civics, geography and general awareness topics.

The topics are those that you would have covered till class 9 and partially in class 10.
