NTSC is the National Talent Search Exam
It is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training, NCERT.

NTSE Exam Eligibility:
Candidates must be regular students in class 10th with 55% marks in previous class from recognized board.

Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of two stages for award of scholarship.

For stage- I, selection will be done by states/ UTs through a written examination.

Qualified students of first stage exam will be eligible to appear for stage II examination.

The National Talent Search Examination conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for students studying at the Class X level. The next NTSE stage II exam was conducted on May 10, 2015 in all States and UT.

The examination consists of tests, namely Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

The items in the MAT and SAT are multiple choice questions. Each question has four alternatives.
