Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:
For General candidates
21 Years to 30 Years

For OBC candidates
21 Years to 33 Years,

For SC / ST candidates
21 Years to 35 Years

IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.)
HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)
ONGC (Oil & Natural Gas Corporation)
SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd.)
BPCL (Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.)
MECON (Metallurgical & Engineering Consultant)
FCI (Food Corporation of India Ltd.)
NALCO (National Aluminimum Company)

You can join NTPC through GATE.

Position IN NTPC:
Executive Trainees in Mechanical
Electrical
Electronics
Instrumentation Engineering

Selection process:
It is depend on the basis of GATE scores followed by group discussions and a personal interview.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with minimum of 65% marks in aggregate.

Final year students are also eligible with minimum 65% in their engineering.

Candidates must have qualified in GATE.

Submission of online GATE 2015 application: September 1 – October 14, 2014

Start of online application module : December 20, 2014
Last date for applying to NTPC: January 19, 2015
