Nsit Cricket Tournament

Hello sir I am suppose to take admission in the Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) I am a sports person of cricket so I want to know that does this Institute offers physical education and does it organize tournaments please provide me the detail ??

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, previously Delhi Institute of Technology, is one of the top engineering colleges in India.

Founded In 1983, it is an autonomous institution of the Government of Delhi.

This Institute has Department of Physical Education

NSIT offers state of art facilities in the area of physical education, providing the following facilities:

Gymnasium with latest fitness equipments
Two basketball courts
Two volleyball courts
Cricket ground
Football ground with a seating arrangement of approximately 5000
Two tennis courts
Running Tacks (400m)

The college and the students of NSIT have been proactive in hosting and participating in many sports events, including Delhi University tournaments, and have been competitive on an All-India-Inter University level.

Some of the events that the department holds/has held:

Annual Sports day where a variety of interclass tournament are held.

Three All-India inter-university tournaments have been organized (2014-2015) : Cricket (Men), Softball – (Men , Women)
