Delhi Technological University B.Tech NRI admission details are given below: Educational Qualifications: For Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats) A candidate passing any of the following examinations from a recognized School/College/Institute located within the National Capital Territory(NCT) of Delhi only and securing 60 % or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats) A candidate passing any of the following examinations from a recognized School/College/Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi only and securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. NRIs An person is Non-Resident when he is “not a resident” or who is “not ordinarily resident”. A person is treated as “not ordinarily resident” when any of the following conditions is satisfied: If he/she has not been resident in India in nine out of ten preceding years; Or If he/she has not been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the preceding seven years Only a person who is a NRI himself/herself may seek admission and no other candidate without NRI status would be eligible. Admission under this category shall be made on the basis of the merit as per score in SAT-II (scores with Physics and Mathematics) for B. Tech and GRE for M. Tech. courses. Any seats remaining unfilled from the NRI quota will be filled from the applicants for admission under Foreign nationals/Persons of Indian Origin as per the merit of the candidates subject to their eligibility for admission to the University.
